CATHOLIC APOLOGETICS
The purpose of this new webpage that was started in March, 2008 is to present Catholic Apologetics, a theological defence and providing of the truths found in Catholic Doctrines. To do so, it is necessary to list the false beliefs and then present where such beliefs strayed from the truth.
Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, Catholic are sent forth by their Bishop to become true witnesses of Christ, being obligated to spread and defend the faith by word and deed. [Catechism of the Catholic Church # 1285] Now, armed with the authority of Christ and the truth, they possess the spiritual tools to correct those who are in error. This calling obligates us to be lights in the world in the likeness of Christ Who is the Source of all lights.
"Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you." [1 Peter 3;15]
"Have nothing to do with stupid and senseless controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kindly to everyone, an apt teacher, patient, correcting opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant that they will repent and come to know the truth." [2 Tim. 2:34-24]
