The instructions on how to save the icons to your computer are found at the bottom of this webpage, right after the graphics. Please read them carefully to ensure that you will successfully download the files with the "*.ico" extensions and not the "*.jpg" graphics that you see on this page.

INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Do not download the above images. They are "jpg" extension files and they will not work as icons. You must follow the following downloading instructions.
These instructions are based on using Internet Explorer. I suspect all browser must work similar.
Please Note: These icons are meant to change the icons of the FILE FOLDERS on your screen. They will not change the DIRECTORY icons.
DOWNLOADING THE ICONS
1. Choose a graphic of your choice.
2. Place your mouse pointer on it.
3. Click on the right button of your mouse. (A window will open.)
4. Click on "SAVE TARGET AS." (Another window will open.) (DO NOT click on "Save picture as." This is the most common mistake made and it will not work.)
5. The window should show the number of the graphic and the icon, both being the same number. Where it says "Save as type", it should have the word "symbol." That means you are doing it right.
6. In that Window, you are asked where you want to save the cursor file. You should create a director called "icons" in which to download them into. Give the following path as instructions:
c:\icons\
This will place the file in the directory "icons" where all your icons will be located.
INSTALLING THE ICONS
Now that you have downloaded one or more of the icons. Let us set one up.
1. Place your mouse pointer over the "icon" that you want to change on your computer screen (monitor).
2. Right click on it with your mouse. A grey box will pop up.
3. Left click on the word "properties" at the bottom of the grey box. A new window will pop up.
4. On the bottom right, click on "Change Icon." A new window will pop up.
5. On the bottom right, click on "Browse." Another window will pop up.
6. Where it says, "Look in" at the top left, go to c:\icons where you saved your icons. You should be able to see the pictures of the icons that you saved in the directory.
7. Click on the icon of your choice.
8. A window will pop up that says "Change Icon." Click on "OK" to close it.
9. On the next window, click again on "OK" to close it.
10. You should now have a new Icon on your computer screen (monitor). That's it!
CONCLUSION
If you like what you see, tell your friends about this page so they will come and get their own icons.
