Monthly Newsletter of February, 2016.
(Issue # 190)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It is with great joy that I wish to inform you that Catholic Doors Ministry now has two priests available to the website visitors who write and ask for prayers. During the past month, the Most Reverend Bishop Alex from the Diocese of Kannur in India, appointed these wonderful priests to assist you with your spiritual needs.

Fr. George and Fr. Joseph have been made their email address available to you should you wish to write to them directly. There is no need to write to Catholic Doors Ministry and have your email forwarded to one of them. The email address of these priests is located under their photos at http://catholicdoors.com/missioninindia/massstipends.htm"

Over and above helping you with your spiritual needs through Prayer Requests, these priests will accept your Mass stipends for all your needs. The standard procedure is to donate $5.00 per Mass request, be it for yourself or others, for the living or the dead.

The Diocese of Kannur will offer Gregorian Masses for the Release of Souls. The Gregorian Masses is an ancient but mostly unknown custom of the Church whereas a daily Mass is offered for 30 days for a soul in Purgatory. After the Masses are said, it is believed that the soul is immediately freed from Purgatory and enters Heaven. The suggested donation in the Diocese of Kannur is $150 for the 30 Masses which is a small amount to pay to release a Holy Soul from Purgatory. This stipend is a free will offering for the priest to do the Mass. In most Dioceses around the world, the offering is $300.00 for 30 Gregorian Masses.

And naturally, you are always welcomed to make a donation to the poor Diocese of Kannur to assist the Bishop in the many needs of the Catholic and non-Catholics who rely on the priests of the Diocese for financial support.

May the Lord Jesus bless richly this Catholic Diocese that is offering some of its priests to assist with the spiritual needs of those who use the internet for their spiritual growth.

In the love of Jesus and Mary,
