Monthly Newsletter of September, 2012.
(Issue # 149)

Dear members of the Kingdom of God on earth,

Greetings from Catholic Doors Ministry. I trust you all had a great Summer and pray that this newsletter finds you all in good health. With the arrival of the Fall Season, I noticed that many around me have also entered the flu Season. It appears that the flu has arrived early this year.

The unexpected arrival of the flu is like the expected Second Coming of Christ. We do not know when it will come. When it does come, it will come as a surprise and stop us in our tracks. The flu overwhelms many of us physically, often with pains to bear day and night. That is when, in time of sickness, we turn our eyes towards the Lord Jesus. When the Lord Jesus comes, we will all be turning our eyes towards the heavens.

We are all spiritually sick, in need of the Divine Doctor. Being in the flesh, we do not understand our own actions. For we do not do what we want, but we do the very thing that we hate. [Romans 7:15] Nothing good dwells in us, that is in the flesh. [Rom. 7:18] Indeed, we are in need of the great Divine Doctor, the Saviour, Who through death, will end all our earthly sufferings. Now, we are prisoners of the earth. In the future, those of us who persevere in the faith, through Christ, we will all be free as adopted children of God.

Should we sit around and wait for the flu to hit us? No! Should we sit around and wait for Christ to return? No! We have obligations, spiritual and worldly, to move along in our lives, to grow in understanding, knowledge and wisdom that will benefit us all in both lives, our worldly life and our spiritual life. Keeping that goal in mind, let us pray for each other as one, united spiritual brothers and sisters, that we may all be eternally united in Christ Jesus.

May the grace of God be with all of you.[Col. 4:18]
