Monthly Newsletter of August, 2012.
(Issue # 148)

Dear friends of the Lord God,

I pray that the last couple of months have been most enjoyable for you and your loved ones. Before long, another Season shall be upon us. Our goals and obligations shall shift as the weather in order for all things to fall into place.

During the Summer months, most of us have not strived for the highest level of holiness, shipwrecking here and there from time to time. As the Bible states, "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." [Rom. 3:23] As Saint Paul said, "For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I do." [Rom. 7:19] And because of our sinful nature, "the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Rom. 6:23] Our only hope is to run towards Jesus. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life." [Jn. 3:16]

Through the Sacramental life, we will find eternal life! Through the Sacramental life, we, the adopted sons and daughters of God, will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Through the Sacramental life, we will walk towards the eternal peace and joy that we long for in this world, but which cannot be found down here.

My friends, let us all joyfully welcome the new month and Season for the glory of God. For the power of the Holy Spirit is with us in the Most Holy Name of Jesus. May God bless you all!
