Monthly Newsletter of October, 2010.
(Issue # 126)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,

As many of you are aware, the entire month of November is dedicated to the poor Souls in Purgatory, whose feast is celebrated on November 2. This practice follows the Catholic tradition of praying for the dead. For the rest of our lives we will be praying for the dead, supposing they are in Purgatory, while hoping they are in Heaven and have not been damned.

Praying for the dead comes in many forms. Some prefer to pray alone, such including a visit to the cemetary. Some prefer to pray with a group for their friends and/or family members or those of the members of the group. Others prefer to send Mass Stipends to a priest to have Holy Mass celebrated for their loved ones who passed on and who may be in need of prayers before they can enjoy eternal happiness.

If you wish to send Mass Stipends to a priest in India, please click here for information on how to do so.

The month of November will conclude the 2009-2010 Liturgical Cycle of Year "C" with the Feast of Christ the King, He who is the Head of the Body, the Church. The following Sunday will mark the beginning of the Advent Season. Such shall be noticed by the change of liturgical color to purple as a symbol of penance.

This month, let us all unite our prayers for the needs of all our loved ones who have passed away into eternal life. May their souls have found the eternal bliss that we all long for.

In Jesus and Mary,
