Monthly Newsletter of February, 2010.
(Issue # 118)

Dear children of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

With the arrival of the month of March, I asked myself, "I wonder what liturgical events take place during the month of March?" I quickly remembered that March is the month of Saint Joseph. For Catholics who have a special attachment to this great saint, March is the month that sees the implementation of all kinds of devotions related to Joseph who is the Patron of the Catholic Church and the husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This year, everyday of March is a lenten day, days when Catholics turn to prayers, show remorse for their sins, do almsgiving and self-denial.

During March, we will see three Sundays of Christian Initiation, the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord and Palm Sunday. During the last week of the month, we will enter the Holy Week.

And for those who look towards the coming of Spring, it will be upon us on March 21, 2010. The days will now get much longer and the weather shall be warmer.

In conclusion, during the past month, I have added on the website a number of good Questions and Answers (Frequently Asked Questions) on Catholic topics. I recommend you review the list below. I am sure that one or two of those topics will draw your attention.

Growing in the Catholic faith is an ongoing learning process. we think we know it all until we find out that one or more of our beliefs are Protestant in nature. Such beliefs have never received the sanction of the Catholic Church, especially when it concerns the liturgy.

May the Spirit of Christ always guide you in your spiritual growth. In the end, in our new bodies, all of us shall shine like Christ.

In the love of Jesus,
