CATHOLIC DOORS MINISTRY

Monthly Newsletter of May, 2008.
(Issue # 97)

Dear members of the Body of Christ,

In many countries, the month of June is when many students have completed their studies until such time as they resume the following September. For others, such as High School and University graduates, the end of their studies is a turning point in their lives. It is a new beginning! It is the beginning of a long journey, a lifetime of applying all the educational treasures that have been learned during years of studies.

Each graduate shall strive to persevere in the career that he/she has chosen. Equally, each graduate shall strive to persevere in the faith of his childhood, the treasure that was handed down to him/her from his parents and grandparents. There will be moments of joy and moments of hardship. There may even be periods of shipwreck from which it will be necessary to recover by reaching out to the Divine saving hand.

God has never promised an easy life to anyone. Those who work, they shall be blessed and they will eat. Those who refuse to work, they shall be cursed and suffer hunger. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, those who marry and who are supported by their spouse, and those who are unable to work for medical reasons. Their faith shall provide for them.

During the month of June, let us unite our prayers for the needs of our student graduates, that the grace of God may shine on them all in their choice of career and during their search for fruitful employment. May each one's career be examplary in the living faith as Catholics, especially to the younger ones of the next generation who shall follow in their footsteps.

Jonn,
webmaster.
