Frequently Asked Questions

Q. 1. Has anyone ever seen God?

A. 1. When considering this question, are we talking about God the Father, God the Holy Spirit or God the Son?

God the Father was before time and the creation of the Heavens and earth. Accordingly, as a Divine Consciousness, He has no form. He is neither man, nor woman.

God the Holy Spirit is Spirit. He cannot be seen by the human eye.

God the Son is Jesus Christ. Jesus was seen by thousands when He dwelled on earth. Jesus said, "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father." [Jn. 14:9] "For in (Jesus) the fullness of God was pleased to dwell." [Col. 1:19] "For in him the whole fullness of deity (God) dwells bodily." [Col. 2:9]

So who has seen God? All those who have seen Jesus have seen God to the extent that is is possible for the human eye to see God as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

In regards to the references in the Old Testament where some have seen God, such can only be understood to mean that they have seen God in Jesus' body since He is timeless.
