Frequently Asked Questions
regarding
THE MEANING OF
"THE FULLNESS OF TIME".

Q. 1. What is meant by "The fullness of time" as stated in Galatians 4:4 of the Holy Bible?

A. 1. These words are part of the Biblical verse, "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, in order to redeem those were were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as children." [Ga. 4:4-5]

Accordingly, "The fullness of time" means "when the time was right." It was the time that God chose, the perfect time in the history of mankind to ensure the salvation of many. If God had incarnated earlier or later, or even today, it would not have been the right time, the fullness of time. "The fullness of time" was God's chosen time, not our chosen time.
