Q. 1. Am I allowed to attend an Eastern Catholic Church and receive Holy Communion to fulfill my Sunday Obligation? If so, what Eastern Catholic Churches (Rites) are under the umbrella of the Vatican?

A. 1. Canon Law # 923 states: "The Christian faithful may take part in the Eucharistic Sacrifice and receive Communion in any Catholic rite."

This means that your Sunday obligation is fulfilled by attending the service of any Catholic Rite that is under the umbrella of the Roman Catholic Church.
