Frequently Asked Questions
regarding
THE HOLY BIBLE
AND THE SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST

Q. 1. Does the Holy Bible provide any proof that the Eucharist is a Sacrament?

A. 1. Yes, it does. During the Last Supper, Jesus took the bread and then the wine and clearly said, "This is My Body..." and "This is My Blood."

The Holy Bible warns everyone not to sin against the Body and Blood of Christ. [1 Cor. 11:26-30] For those who eat the Body of Christ or drink the Blood of Christ in an unworthy manner, he eats and drinks damnation upon himself.

In John 6:32-58, we read that while Moses gave the Jewish people bread from Heaven, the heavenly Father has given us the True Bread from Heaven. That Bread is He, Jesus, who came down from Heaven to give life to the world. Jesus said, "I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes in me shall never thirst."

The following are some Biblical references to the Sacrament of the Eucharist:

Matthew 26:26-29;

Luke 24:35;

John 6:32-58;

Acts 2:42, and

1 Corinthians 11:24-30.
