Frequently Asked Questions

Q. 1. Did Jesus have a Guardian Angel?

A. 1. Because Jesus was a man, God incarnated, it is believed that He had a Guardian Angel. The general belief is that St. Michael was the Guardian Angel of Jesus. In the Holy Bible, we find evidence that angels ministered to Jesus. When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, according to St. Luke, "And there appeared to [Jesus] an angel from heaven, strengthening him" [Lk. 22:43] In Matthew 4:11 and Mark 1:13, we read that angels ministered to Jesus after He was tempted by the devil.

There is sufficient biblical evidence that Jesus had a Guardian Angel or more angels at His service.
