Frequently Asked Questions

Q. 1. What is the best location to pray? Is it more effective to pray in the Church versus praying in one's home?

A. 1. God is omnipresent. That means that He is present everywhere. While God is physically present in the Most Holy Tabernacles of the Catholic Church, He is also present spiritually in all other locations throughout the world. So no matter where you pray, God equally hears your prayer.

There is no magic formula when it comes to praying. Prayers are answered in accordance with God's Divine Will.

Since you can pray to God from anywhere, why go to Church to pray to God? Praying in Church serves the purpose of reminding you to set a time aside in your life to be with God and God's people, away from your busy lifestyle that denies you the presence of God.

The problem with praying is that those who pray often spend their time doing selfish demands to God - give me this, give me that, never remembering to thank God for the blessings that have been received, a family, a job, a roof on their head, food on the table, and the list goes on.

I have personally witnessed that Catholics and non-Catholics, who have been miraculously healed from terminal medical conditions at holy Shrines during the past 50 years, it was noted that their recovery occurred when they completely submitted themselves to God's Divine Will and asked God while in the presence of other persons who were suffering fatal illnesses, "If You won't heal me, at least heal that other person." Their loving act of self-sacrifice produced an answered prayer of a miraculous healing.
